So, my family has decided to get in touch with our nomadic roots and we have decied to "depart into the wildernes."

That's right, peeps! My family is moving. My dad got a job in Salt Lake City, Utah. My dad will be starting work with his new employers on January 19th, and so mom is going to stay here and try to get the house sold. We have a lot of things to do.

Origionally, we were just going to replace the linolium in the kitchen, but as it turns out we're going to be redoing the entire kitchen, which includes a new counter top and cabinates. We also need to redo the roof, and we're waiting for one of our friends to come back with the estimate. So needless to say, we're going to have a small Christmas. My sister and I are going to be getting just the essentials for College. Especially me since I will most likely be moving up to Utah with Dad in January. This means I now need to decide which books I will be taking with me, and I need to start getting rid of little knick-knacks that I really don't need. Most of this I've already done, but it wouldn't hurt to go through more of it, right?

Also, I have heaps of drawings on Newsprint that I should upload onto here. I still need to call Dennis Tannen and see if he can help me with photographing my portfolio for USU.

In other news, I went and saw "A Christmas Carol" at the Glendale Center Theater. It was amazing! If any of you live in the LA area, you should deffinately plan on seeing it next year. I believe the show last night was the last one for this season. Deffinately a top-knotch group of actors. It's hard when you have no solid set and the audience is sitting all around you, but these people are amazing!

So Ripper, do you remember this song?

Lundi matin
L’emp’reur, sa femme et le p’tit prince
Sont venus chez moi
Pour me serrer la pince
Comm’ j’étais parti
Le p’tit prince a dit :
Puisque c’est ainsi nous reviendrons mardi.

Why is it that I remember this song right after my French final exam?

On Thrusday, November 5th, I recieved my acceptance letter for Utah State University.

I shall be moving to Utah this December.

In other news, I finally watched V for Vendetta, and I must say that it is an amazing film. I need to get a copy of the graphic novel. What prompted me to watch it? Well... I guess for multiple reasons. 1) We are studying Dystopia's in my English class, and I guess you could say that this was a bit of a dystopia. 2) Thursday was Guy Fawkes day. 3) My boyfriend can recite most of the "V Speach", and I wanted to hear it... And so I looked up the speach, and I wasn't satisfied with just watching that part of the film, so I looked up the rest on Youtube.

And in more news, I shall start reading Slaughterhouse-Five within the next two weeks.

Happy Guy Fawkes day!

Remember, remember, the 5th of November
The Gunpowder Treason and plot ;
I know of no reason why Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes,
'Twas his intent.
To blow up the King and the Parliament.
Three score barrels of powder below.
Poor old England to overthrow.
By God's providence he was catch'd,
With a dark lantern and burning match

Holloa boys, Holloa boys, let the bells ring
Holloa boys, Holloa boys, God save the King!

Hip hip Hoorah !
Hip hip Hoorah !

A penny loaf to feed ol' Pope,
A farthing cheese to choke him.
A pint of beer to rinse it down,
A faggot of sticks to burn him.
Burn him in a tub of tar,'
Burn him like a blazing star.
Burn his body from his head,
Then we'll say: ol' Pope is dead.

15.5 Units...

Yes, I am insaine.... but I think I can handle it. 8 of those units are core classes (French 2 and English 1C) and then the other 7.5 are Art related (Screen Printing, Life Drawing and Heads & Hands.)

Good thing about the french class, I have to get a minimum of 8 hours done in the LLC... and basically I just need to sign in there, and I can do my homework or watch a film in French... or just surf the web or something and I get the credit hours... I'll probably use the software they have. They have Rosetta Stone, and that would help, along with another program called "Tell me more" where you practice speaking the language. That one is cool. The computer will ask you conversational questions, and you answer back. If you don't say something correctly, it says that it didn't understand you, and you get to repeat yourself... lol It asked the LLC worker what her name is, and she answered "Je m'appelle Lisa, et toi?" and it answered back "Je suis un ordinateur" HAHA!

Well, I thought it was funny....
